If you have never been to Rio de Janeiro, regardless of whether you are Brazilian or not, it is common to have this doubt of where to go beyond the Christ Redeemer, what are the high points of the city and so on. The high points of the city are the beaches (obvious). Rio is basically just that, but there are the best beaches to be in and, in my opinion, these are Ipanema beach, Leblon and famous Copacabana.

I love that hipster part of the city and then stay in the small street bars drinking and enjoying the breeze, it’s like the Vila Madalena in São Paulo.

The Pedra da Gávea trail is the ideal challenge for those looking for adventure, adrenaline and the most beautiful look of Rio de Janeiro – RJ.

The Pedra da Gávea has 842 meters and is one of the most famous rock formations of the wonderful city. Going up Pedra is the dream of many travelers and Cariocas, because from the top of the largest rock block by the sea the world is possible to see the Bay of Guanabara and some of the main beaches of the city of Rio de Janeiro as Ipanema, Leblon, Barra da Tijuca and São Conrado, as well as some other mountains of the Tijuca National Park, such as Tijuca Peak, Papagaio Peak, Pedra Bonita and Corcovado, and on days of blue sky you can also see the mountains of the Serra dos Órgãos.

The Pedra da Gávea trail is considered a very beautiful walk and with several natural obstacles easy to overcome, but most of the time the climb is steep and heavy.
