Montenegro is a little known destination and so has become a haven of rest for royal and Hollywood families, there we find the small island of Sveti Stefan, which houses the exclusive Aman resort.
The Resort is spread by its properties on the mainland, more precisely at Villa Milocer, and on the island of Sveti Stefan. Access between the two parts of the property is made by boat, on foot or by car through the pontoon connecting the two sides, and the unit of the island is only open from May 1 to October 15, due to the season and climate on site. Already the Villa operates normally throughout the year.
In Aman, it is possible to find restaurants easily during tours inside the resort. They are scattered across the 80-acre stretch, counting island and Villa, including the wonderful Italian restaurant Arva on the island.
In addition to great restaurants, the resort surprises with the 1600 square foot SPA, a true temple of relaxation and well-being. Here you can take advantage of hydrotherapy treatments, gym or pilates, and practice yoga at one of the on-site studios.
The mansion that houses the guests on the mainland had once been the summer home of Queen Marija Karadjordjevic. All the luxury of the mansion was kept surrounded by 800 pine trees and old cedars, thus accommodating in the suites with walls made of stones the guests of the hotel.
Already on the island, the accommodations are divided into chalets, suites and 50 rooms in the hotel. Each decorated with a unique and original style. The streets there are made in parallelepiped and each wall has been restored by hand, being a fortified island off the VX century.
The Aman Resort is a true paradise hidden in the midst of the wild forest in Montenegro. The resort is in the heart of the country’s mountainous coast, a UNESCO protected the area. Our stay at this resort is almost mandatory for anyone wanting to relax during their trip for at least 3 nights.
