During an unfortunate 12 hour stopover. Leaving Las Vegas and going to Cancun, I had the idea to explore this damn city that was making me miss a day of sun and beach relaxing in the warm and crystalline waters of Mexico.
Well, when I discovered the city, I saw that there was nothing wrong with it. On the contrary, the city is wonderful, well-designed, clean and very well organized. Riquissima in tourist spots, Culture, Museums and Art, this unexpected experience will always be kept with great affection in my memories.
The city of Atlanta is the most populous and main cultural, economic and political center of the US state of Georgia, and hosted the Olympic Summer Games in 1996.
First Stop: World Of Coca – Cola
The permanent museum that tells the whole history of Coca-Cola in the world, from its inception to its trajectory to success is beautiful and portrays its entire saga in a super enchanting way.
Second Stop: Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the world and has more than 30,000 cubic meters and 30 million liters of fresh and salt water. It has more than 120 thousand animals being 500 different species. Simply incredible and breathtaking.
Third Stop: Centennial Olympic Park
With an area of approximately 21 hectares, the place is one of the most visited attractions of Atlanta.
Fourth Stop: Inside CNN Tour
It’s a tour that allows you to get to know the backstage of the television network and watch live programs being recorded on the air, watching the recordings and how the news is selected to be reported, very cool!
Unfortunately I did not have time to enjoy all the wonders and sights that the city of Atlanta offers, but for those who go there and have more time I believe it is worth to also visit the High Museum of Art, Michael C. Carlos Museum, Swan House, Chastain Park Amphitheater, Atlanta Skyview, APEX Museum, Chocran Mill Park, The Museum Of Contemporary Art Of Georgia, Legoland Discovery Center, Maison Murer Fine Art Museum and Folk Art Park.
