For those travelers who, like me, are lovers of a good Din Tai Fung, the Sunday brunch served at the Clifford Hotel in Singapore City is a must.
The Clifford Pier is an intimate and luxurious restaurant located across from Marina Bay, in the heart of the Fullerton Hotel, one of Singapore’s best hotels. Here Fullerton’s restaurant guests and guests enjoy the beautiful view of the Pier while enjoying their meals.

Meals that alias are sure to leave anyone astounding. In the restaurant, the traditional Asian cuisine is the flagship and, best of all, without losing the originality of the references of the local people who live in that region. The techniques are faithful and make our experience even more enjoyable.
Clifford’s chef is none other than Philip Chia, a man somewhat innovative in the oldest Asian dishes.
For me the best experience there was during brunch. Traditional peranakan dishes are served with great elegance and flavor. The meal adored by me is called Heritage Dim Sum Brunch and on the menu, we found it from salads to wonderful desserts, plus a free buffet with an extensive variety of what to eat. The restaurant also gives you the option of paying a small amount, to enjoy cold drinks at will, including cocktails and champagne.

For those interested, and I know everyone is (rs), the Brunch happens on weekends and holidays from 11 am to 2 pm.

The city of New Delhi, capital of India, is the third largest city in the country. With about 14 million inhabitants, the city is divided between Old Delhi, with monuments and congested 16th and 17th-century bazaar markets erected by the empire mogul And New Delhi, with wide avenues, beautiful views and colonial mansions built by the British in the 1930s as imperial capital. Today I will show some of the contrasts and contradictions that such a diverse culture has.
Juju Coelho Pinto strolls through the city of Delhi, the Indian capital.
Main sights
Red Fort
Juju Coelho Pinto in the Red Fort.
The Red Fort was built in the 17th century and today is part of the area of the city we call Old Delhi. This fort is a collection of monumental historic constructions in India and a major landmark in Indian architecture.
One of the most beautiful places I visited in the Red Fort was Jami Masjid, which is the largest mosque built in India.
Jami Masjid, at Red Fort.
Built more than three centuries ago, the mosque today earns the title of one of the main religious sights of the city of Delhi. The patio holds up to 2500 people, which easily flood the place either to visit alone or to show your belief. Jami Masjid has three large entrance portals, two minarets, and four towers. The minarets of the mosque are 40 meters high and were built in white marble and strips of sandstone.
Humayuns Tomb
Humayuns Tomb
It seems odd, but this beautiful building and one of the oldest and most visited of the Indian capital is a mausoleum, or a lighter tomb.
The Humayun’s Tomb was built in the Mughal period, aliases, it was the first construction made at this time.
Lotus Dome
Lotus Dome
Designed by the Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, it has an attractive lotus flower shape. Surrounded by nine mirrors of water, it draws devotees of all faiths, by having a Baha’i sect that departs from the point of view that humankind is a single race.
Lodhi Gardens
Lodhi Gardens
The most visited and frequented local gardens are the Lodhi, which houses four important tombs in the heart of India, are between Khan Market and Safdarjung Tomb on Lodhi Street.
Gandhi National Museum
Juju Coelho Pinto at Gandhi National Museum
“Nonviolence is the commitment with all courage against tyranny … Only thus can a single individual defy the powers of an unjust empire” (Mahatma Gandhi). This and other phrases are spoken by Mahatma Gandhi, in addition to other monuments connected to him, are in the Museum in his honor.
Rajghat
Juju Coelho Pinto at Rajghat
India’s most powerful symbol of nationality, the Rajghat, was the cremation site of the Mahatma Gandhi. In the inscription, he has his last words: Hem Ram! (Oh God !)
Birla Mandir – Laxmi Narayan Temple
Birla Mandir – Laxmi Narayan Temple
As I mentioned here the largest mosque in India, I now recommend the visit to the largest Hindu temple.
The Laxmi Narayan Temple was built by the Birla family, so it is also known as Birla Mandir, in dedication to Laxminarayan, for the most part.
Qutb Complex

This set of monuments in Mehrauli, also known as “Tower of Victory”, was built in AD 1192 after Mohammed Ghori defeated the king rajapute, Prithviraj Chauhan, in celebration.
National Gallery of Modern Art

All the contrasts and contradictions of India are well visible in the capital. This fascinating diversity of Delhi joins the fact that it is, basically, a city of migrants, where there is no middle class.
Chaotic transit in the city of Delhi, India.
Now, this information is for those who find the traffic of Sao Paulo bad. In Delhi, it is virtually impossible to get around in vehicles because of chaotic congestion. They are cows, oxen, horses, bicycles, cars, motorcycles and taxis competing for space in streets that often do not have the right side to drive, or if you want some traffic law.
Misery and filth along with wonderful historical heritages portray the reality of an extremist people and strongly attached to religion.
Juju Coelho Pinto on Tour of the city of Delhi, the Indian capital.
I hope you enjoyed this brief summary of the city of New Delhi. Just one last golden tip: when you are planning to travel to India do not forget to already buy your tickets in advance and tours through the city through Get Your Guide, so everything becomes more practical. And walk!

Travel is good, but traveling with tips from local people is much better. Here are the tips from my local friend from Istanbul, Ertugrul Konokoglu.
@ertugrulkonukoglu
To get directions, he told us which hotels he likes best in his city. These are the Raffles Hotel, the Çırağan Kempinski Palace and Four Seasons, which are also among my favorite hotels. In addition to these 3 hotels, he recommended the Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul, which is located in the Bosphorus Strait. This is a more suitable area for those who want to stay a bit further away from the center. The Swissotel has already been awarded as one of the safest hotels to be in and has views of the strait and rooftop pool.

And the St. Regis Istanbul. The hotel chain is present in several countries always offering complete services, which makes them worthy of 5 stars. At the Istanbul unit, you can enjoy the indoor pool and have an exclusive butler 24H a day.

The next tips are from restaurants frequented by locals. The best according to Konokoglu are Sunset grill & bar, Japanese cuisine. Arnavutkoy balikcisi yenikoy, seafood. Çırağan Palace Tugra restaurant, located inside the hotel indicated above, the Çırağan Kempinski Palace, serves European international dishes. The Ulus 29, which offers local cuisine as well as other European dishes. The cool thing about Ulus is that after a certain time the restaurant turns into a really cool club.

Ulus 29. Photo: Google
Cecconi’s Italian is also a great option, especially if you are staying at Soho House. Masses are served there inspired by Italian gastronomy. In addition, he said that in Ortakoy you can also find good seafood restaurants.
Ertugrul has left us the indications of the bars, ballads and festivals most frequented.
In order to enjoy the evening, he proposed the Lucca Bar in Bebek and the Lounge of the Soho House Hotel. On Saturday, he advised us to enjoy Suits Emirgan’s traditional breakfast, and a Sunday brunch at the Four Seasons brunch is mandatory before taking a tour of the historic part of the city. The perfect Sunday night, for Ertugrul, ends in the lounge of the Sunset Grill.
Already on Monday, the script is Mangeoire in Bebek, and a day of laziness the + Fenix club, followed by an extraordinary dinner on the spot.

Hello hello, my dear ones, this post is for you who accompanied me during my trip to Istanbul last week and I was asked to review the Four Seasons hotel in the Historical City. Firstly, I will talk about the location that I found the ideal for those who come to visit the city of Istanbul for the first time. The hotel is only a block from all the main sights. So if you’re going there, stay in this area for one or two nights at most.
The other nights I recommend the Bosphorus region, where the locals go and are located some of the coolest restaurants and bars.
The four seasons Sultan Ahmet is quite small and has no pool, beauty services, and a satisfactory spa. But I understood after understanding a little about the historic tower of the hotel, which in the 60s was a prison used to imprison young writers, musicians, and artists, even there is the story of the movie “midnight express”.

The Seasons restaurant sits inside a glass pavilion in the center of the hotel garden where you can enjoy tasty meals and the famous Sunday brunch surrounded by stunning décor with Turkish art and Ottoman-era features.
The Hotel also has the A’YA Lounge on the terrace which allows a beautiful view of the historic center. The Lounge serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and also offers a menu of savory snacks.
Despite being small, I had a good experience at the hotel. Treating accommodation The Four Seasons offers rooms with very comfortable mattresses and espresso machine. The individual bathroom disappoints a bit for being very small, but nothing that would disrupt my comfort in the hotel.

Talking about the architecture of the hotel, because it is an old building from the Ottoman period, it is considered a place with neoclassical style. It’s lovely to see how time only values these places.
The interior of the hotel is all decorated with works of Turkish craftsmen and without abandoning the Ottoman decorations, present all over the place and also has a very beautiful landscaped courtyard.

The location of the hotel is also very good but, as I said at the beginning of this post, I recommend staying in the historic area for a maximum of days so that you can enjoy your trip more in the good restaurants and ballads of Istanbul.
The Four Seasons is privileged by the incredible view of the Blue Mosque, one of the most visited places in the city.

The fourth largest city in the world, located in Turkey was my latest destination. Here is for you my list of the best places to stay during your stay in Istanbul.
It is important to note that the city is very chaotic in traffic, so my first tip is to stay for at least two nights in the historical center of Sultanahmet, where the main sights are. So you can more comfortably explore the place on foot even and have a more authentic dining experience.
In the historic center:
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet offers SPA, gym and spacious and comfortable accommodation. It also has a restaurant and bar serving good drinks and typical dishes.
Ajwa Hotel Sultanahmet

The Hotel is still new in the city, opened just two years ago and is only ten minutes from the Blue Mosque. Ajwa offers comfortable and modern accommodation in a traditional style. You also have a SPA, a gym, and an on-site restaurant.
If you do not want to stay exactly in the historical center, very close and best located in the vibrant region of Trim covered with bars and restaurants with a more alternative vibe, are:
Soho House
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Soho House is a complex of three luxurious buildings. It offers spacious, contemporary accommodation, a spa, and a gym. In addition, in the patio, is located the restaurant Cecconi’s, surrounded by a beautiful garden.
Rixos Pera Istanbul
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Considered to be the best hotel in Turkey and my favorite, the Çırağan is housed in a former Ottoman palace from the 19th century. The wonderful hotel offers breathtaking, tastefully decorated and luxurious accommodation with panoramic windows overlooking the garden or the sea. There you can also enjoy the SPA, gym, two bars, and two restaurants, but the main attraction is the infinity pool that allows the view of the Bosphorus Strait.
Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Located on the European coast of the Bosphorus Strait, this hotel offers spacious and luxurious accommodation as well as SPA suites. There is a SPA that offers various relaxing activities, indoor and heated swimming pool, three restaurants and a lounge.
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
This luxurious hotel is located in a 19th-century Ottoman palace on the seafront on the coast. The Four Seasons offers two restaurants, one on the hotel terrace, a bar and a lounge, as well as an indoor and an open-air pool surrounded by umbrellas, SPA, gym, and spacious accommodations.
Last but not least, I recommend it to anyone who is a lover of modern architecture and wishes to be surrounded by good restaurants in a high standard Raffles Istanbul location.
Click on the image to make your reservation with booking.com
Located in central Zorlu, Raffles offers stylish accommodation with a balcony and great views. In addition, the hotel has a terrace, two restaurants, a lounge bar, indoor and outdoor pool, SPA and gym.
In downtown Zorlu you will find the residential area and also a modern design mall with all the shops and brands most loved by us.
I recommend a four-day and four-night city tour, being two days in Sultanahmet or Taksim and two days in the Bosphorus or Zorlu region. That way you can enjoy the best of Istanbul without any difficulties.
