Traveling is good, but traveling with tips from local people is much better. See the tips below from my local friend from Marrakech, Taz.
Starting at the best hotels in the city, as always, he indicated some hotels that are on my list of hotel indications also, which are the Royal Palm Fairmont, Royal Mansour, Four Seasons, Palais Namaskar and the Selman Marrakech.
In addition to these, he recommended the Mandarin Oriental, a property with 54 private Arabian style villas.
The Mandarin offers for each of its villas pools and hot tubs and you can even enjoy a suite with a rooftop plunge pool. It is a perfect place to relax!
Now that you know where to stay, we have to choose the best places to eat, so our local guide told us about his favorite restaurants. And these are the Bo & Zin, which serves dishes of Mediterranean and Thai cuisine. Epicurien, a French gastronomic restaurant that enchants with its attractions at night. Lotus restaurant, a Moroccan restaurant, and club serving Japanese food. And lastly, the Jad Mahal, which is on my list of favorite restaurants too.
He also left us two directions for nightlife: Theatro and Le So are the two most popular nightclubs in Marrakech and offer very busy nights and lively nights for incredible DJs. Theatro is also on my list of places I went to enjoy when I was in Marrakech.
As Marrakech is a city full of surprises and incredible sights, he could not fail to point out Les Jardins Majorelle, Musée YSL and Jardins Secrets.
