Hello Hello everyone, I have just arrived in Belgrade in Serbia and I am very happy to share with you all a little bit about this destination. The city is quite small so you can basically see all the main sights in just one afternoon. Once there, start the day visiting the Belgrade Fortress, the place is very beautiful and has a great view of the Danube River.

Just outside the fort’s back door you can walk down Stari Grad where Knez Mihailova Street is lined with small shops, cafes, restaurants and charming roof tops. For those who stop by for coffee or lunch, I recommend going to the “Cafetheria”, a beautiful 4-story building with a very nice Art Deco decoration. For those looking for lunch and a place to enjoy the sunset, I recommend the roof of the “Mama Shelter” restaurant.

The city’s third attraction is the Orthodox Church of Saint Sava, the second largest in the world. To round off the day, head to Serbia’s Montmartre, Skadarlija Street where the Bohemian region is located.

I loved visiting this charming city.
