Conheça a Mesquita Azul de Sultanahmet

Durante minha última viagem a Istanbul, não pude deixar de visitar um dos principais pontos religiosos e turísticos da cidade.

Sempre gosto de conhecer e visitar templos e igrejas quando vou para outros países, pela arquitetura e para também conhecer mais daquele lugar. A maior parte dos pontos religiosos das cidades por onde passo só é permitida a entrada, falando principalmente de mulheres, com ombros e pernas cobertas, além da cabeça. E este e o caso da Mesquita Azul de Sultahnamet.

A famosa mesquita de Istanbul é a unica que contém 6 minaretes. Foi construída há quatro séculos, na época do Sultão Ahmed, na intenção de fazer um templo maior que a Igreja de Santa Sofia. Com o tempo, o local que antes era utilizado apenas para orações Muçulmanas se tornou, também, ponto turístico.

Quando se fala em arquitetura a Mesquita não deixa a desejar. Construída no estilo clássico Otomano, seu interior é tão belo quanto o exterior. O nome “Mesquita azul” veio do reflexo dos mosaicos azuis que cobrem toda a estrutura.

Infelizmente não é permitida a entrada com equipamento fotográfico nem de filmagem na mesquita, então indico que, se quiserem tirar boas fotos la dentro, entrem com seus equipamentos disfarçadamente e bem escondidos.

Falando agora em look, como eu já havia dito aqui, não é permitida a entrada com braços/ombros, pernas e cabeça descobertas. Então aqui vai uma dica: Sempre leve vestidos longos e de manga comprida e echarpes. Shorts, calças e mini saias são mal vistas nesses lugares, então o vestido é realmente a melhor escolha. Para este passeio escolhi este vestido azul lindíssimo e como esqueci minha echarpe, nem tudo é perfeito (rs), tive que improvisar e cobrir os cabelos com esse belo lençol.

Meet the Blue Mosque of Sultanahmet

During my last trip to Istanbul, I could not miss visiting one of the main religious and tourist sites in the city.

I always like to know and visit temples and churches when I go to other countries, for architecture and also to know more about that place. Most of the religious points in the cities where I pass are only allowed entry, mainly speaking of women, with shoulders and legs covered, besides the head. And this is the case of the Blue Mosque of Sultahnamet.

The famous Istanbul mosque is the only one containing 6 minarets. It was built four centuries ago, in the time of Sultan Ahmed in the intention of making a temple bigger than the Church of Saint Sophia. Over time the place that was once used only for Muslim prayers became, also, a tourist spot.

When it comes to architecture the mosque is not to be missed. Built in the classical Ottoman style, its interior is as beautiful as the exterior. The name “Blue Mosque” came from the reflection of blue mosaics covering the entire structure.

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to enter with photographic equipment nor of filming in the mosque, then I indicate that, if they want to take good photos the inside, enter with their equipment covertly and well hidden.

Speaking now in look, as I said before, entrance is not allowed with arms/shoulders, legs, and head uncovered. So here’s a tip: Always wear long, long-sleeved dresses and scarves. Shorts, pants and mini skirts are barely seen in these places, so the dress is really the best choice. For this tour, I chose this beautiful blue dress and how I forgot my scarf, everything is not perfect (rs), I had to improvise and cover my hair with this beautiful sheet.
