I’m in a wonderful city this week and showing you everything on Instagram. But today I came here to help those who intend to spend time in Rio and still do not know where to stay in the city. So here are my favorite hotels in Rio de Janeiro:
Belmond Copacabana Palace
It is my favorite and the most traditional hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Almost every time I come to town, I stay at the hotel for wonderful service, luxury, and comfort. You can read more about Belmond Copacabana Palace by clicking here.
Fasano Rio de Janeiro Hotel
The Fasano never disappoints, from the restaurant’s award-winning cuisine to the hotel’s rooms. Staying at Fasano Rio de Janeiro, you will enjoy a Spa and wellness center, gym and a rooftop pool overlooking Ipanema Beach. Not to mention the trendy nightclub on the property.
Emiliano Rio
I am passionate about Emiliano’s pool, I believe it is one of the hotel’s greatest charms. The pool has an infinity edge and is located at the top of the hotel with views of Copacabana beach. It is a spectacle and, besides the swimming pool, you can enjoy the typical Brazilian cuisine in the hotel restaurant, the Spa and the gym also available there.
Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort
The Sheraton could not be in a better location if not in trendy and well frequented Leblon. The Sheraton is contemplated with private beach, which already wins my heart, 4 restaurants, one of them in the pool area and another on the 26th floor with panoramic views of the beach, and a bar called Casa da Cachaça on the banks of the pool serving snacks exquisite and great drinks.
Janeiro hotel
In Janeiro you will have a more intimate experience in the Leblon neighborhood. The hotel offers accommodation with individual swimming pools in the outside area of the room, a restaurant and a bar named after the hotel and serves typical Brazilian dishes and drinks.
Arpoador hotel
The hotel that borders the Ipanema beach is 100 meters from the Ipanema girl park, a place where you can have a very enjoyable walk on foot. At Arpoador most suites offer panoramic views of the beach and the local fort is the restaurant and bar serving typical and organic foods.
La Suite by Dussol
Despite being further away from the trendy center of Rio, in Ipatinga, it is practically an exclusivity to stay in a hotel of peace that has a privileged view. Read more about La Suite here!
Santa Teresa Hotel RJ – MGallery By Sofitel
Also one of my favorite hotels in Rio, the Santa Tereza hotel is in the heart of the historical-cultural center of the city. Although it is farther from the beaches, it is nice to be staying there for one or two nights and to explore this area of Rio de Janeiro a lot. The hotel features an outdoor pool where you can receive treatments such as massages and the like, the award-winning Térèze restaurant and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro Bay.
