Carnival in the City of Chamonix in Mont – Blanc

Located on the border of France, Italy, and Switzerland. The region lies at the foot of the largest mountain in Europe, Mont-Blanc, with its 4810m. This is one of the perfect places for those who want to escape the Brazilian carnival foliage.

Mont-Blanc welcomes tourists in the 4 seasons of the year by offering numerous attractions and activities including different extreme sports for each season. Allowing any tourist to stay there for a long time, with several surprises every day. The winter season starts in December and ends in April, the best season, without doubt, to be in this place.

The Chamonix Mont-Blanc, has hotels for all levels, trade in many shops and boutiques, including the most famous brands in the world. In addition to restaurants for all budgets and tastes and a plethora of tours.

This time I stayed at Club Med and enjoyed it very much. Good location, great food and super comfy.

A good tip is: if you have a more advanced level of ski or snow close a package offered by the Chamonix ski school, where, accompanied by a teacher, you are going down the mountains off the track.

Remembering that “OFF PIST” is dangerous and should always be done by a professional who knows the area well and knows the safe places to practice the sport.

One of the mountains I liked to visit was the Aiguille du Midi – 3842 m high. Located in the Mont-Blanc massif, it is the highest of the Chamonix needles. The mountain is on the border between France and Italy and from it is seen the valley of Aosta and the Italian region of Piedmont.

For those who climb the cable car just for a stroll, at the top of the Aiguille du Midi there is a restaurant called 3842 and places with panoramic views, plus a gift store and anyone who wishes can go down skiing or return to terra firma by cable car.

For those who choose to go down skiing, on the way back there is an excellent bar to take a break and catch your breath.

Another trip I loved to do in Chamonix was to get to know the Mer de Glace. To get to the place you need to take the train at Gare Du Montenvers station.

Upon arrival, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mer de Glace.

E para ter acesso a Ice Cave , ainda é preciso pegar uma gôndola.

And when you think that you will arrive at Ice Cave … Surprise, you are faced with a demotivating staircase of about 1500 steps, beyond the physical effort, the cold is surreal. But it is very worth making the effort.

Needless to say, it’s beautiful, right? The images speak for themselves.

Despite all the physical effort and the difficulties of getting there, it’s well worth it. The return is a little more exhausting and exhausting, about 15 minutes up the steps, non-stop, in the middle of a cold of minus fifteen degrees.

In the place of the tour, there is also a small Gallery of Crystals and the restaurant Du Montenvers, where you can taste a delicious melted cheese accompanied by potatoes and ham served with a super soft and tasty local red wine.

Walks that are also worth checking out are the Le Musee Alpin, which tells the story of Skiing and Mountaineering through engravings. The Aarts Master Gallery, the Reserve Naturelle de Aiguilles Rouges and, if you are accompanied by children, it is well worth checking out the Parc de Loisirs de Chamonix.

And of course, nothing like a late-afternoon stroll through the elegant city that still features bustling nightclubs, endless pubs, bars, and restaurants plus a casino, bowling alley, and mini golf 24 Hrs.

One of the most traditional and most enjoyable dining places in the city is Le Monchu, where I had the pleasure of savoring the true Fondue.

It is a fact that in the winter of next year I will be here again, since the time I stayed here was not enough to know all the places I would like and to enjoy with more calm everything that the city has to offer.

I hope you enjoyed it and enjoy the tips, comment below on your opinion!
